Hockey Canada
Hockey Canada has released an updated Concussion Policy and Toolbox to help with resources on concussions. Coaches, Trainers, Managers, Volunteers and parents are encouraged to make themselves aware of the policy and toolbox. Attached are graphics that can be used on your website and the links are below. One of the Presentations given at the 5th Fifth International Consensus Conference on Concussion in Sport (The Berlin Consensus) was delivered by Dr. Kristian Goulet, Medical Director: Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Eastern Ontario Concussion Clinic, & the Pediatric Sports Medicine Clinic of Ottawa. Dr. Goulet spoke twice to the Southend Community about the importance of awareness, precaution, treatement and the return to sport.
